With the end so near, it can be easy to fall into a Thanksgiving break slump. Go in with a plan A week before Thanksgiving break, take out your day planner and create a Thanksgiving break academic agenda based on your upcoming assignments. Start by making note of your family obligations and then workin your academic agenda around those plans. To work out an academic agenda, first estimate the number of hours each of your remaining assignments will take you to complete. Next, designate chunks of time to each of them accordingly. It can be helpful to devote an entire day (or a set of days) to one class before moving on to the next. Draw small, empty boxes next to each assignment you list in your planner. This way, you can check off assignments as you complete them. Not only does this help you keep track of what you’ve completed, but it also holds you accountable for completing all that’s on your schedule. (Plus, there’s no denying that good feeling you get when you check off each little box on your agenda!) 2. Start studying for finals It may still be November, but the end of the semester is right around the corner. In other words, the time is right for you to begin studying for final exams.
